Hello, I downloaded your plugin and when I turn the following error occurred: “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $ end in D: \ wamp \ www \ energiafm \ wp-content \ plugins \ youtube-with-style \ youtube.php on line 395. So I sent this data to the server and tried the same procedure, the error that occurred was the same. Hope you can help me, because it is an excellent plugin! Thank you for all !! (excuse my English because I am Brazilian and I am still learning English)

I am just trying your plugin. It’s nice and simple but I have some problems. It works ok when you get to the post the videos are on… However, when I click on the category the post is in I get a lot of flash code showing on the post page. Like this:

flashvars.playOnStart = “false”;
flashvars.startVolume = “70″;
flashvars.autoHideOther = “false”;
flashvars.autoHideVideoControls = “false”;
flashvars.onStartShowControls = “true”;
….. and so on.
I thought it might be incompatable with revewazon plugin but it’s the same problem when I deactivate it. Not to worry too much, I’m sure it’s some incompatability. I shall work through it and see if I can report the problem.

Anyway, sorry to sound negative, I’m not really, I love the extra dimension this gives.

Also, in the next version could you make it so I can pick out multiple videos in one selection – it is tedious repeating the exact process over and over for multiple vids per page.

I have an instruction video, which is the same for a whole bunch of posts in a category I want to be able to embedded the video into the template do you know how I could do this???

Hi m8, nice simple good looking plugin, how ever it seems not to play youtube videos that have been blocked in certain countries.

it just doesnt start or show any warning. but the other that arent blocked worked nicely

Would like to use this plugin as a widget, but every time I add it to the sidebar the background has large red dots which make the sidebar impossible to read. Do you know what this could be?

How could i change the size if i want to resize the another videos different from the default setting ?,

I am using your plugin on several blogs I tweak and manage for clients. However, what I am not sure of, is how to make the plugin embed HD content (720p or 1080p).

For example, on http://www.garuda-blog.nl, the featured videos display at bismal quality, even though they are available as hi-res on YouTube itself.

Is this something you can manage from the plugin or does YouTube simply not allow for HD embeddable content?

It appears that the fullscreen button in the widget version of this is not working. I was also wondering if it is possible to set the player to dim the background while it’s open. I edited the highslide javascript files and added in the variable for dimming (dimmingOpacity: 0.50 dimmingDuration: 50) but it didn’t have any effect. Lastly, is there any way to change the size of the widget version of the player? Or is it dependent on the youtube content?

Even though “HD is on”, the HD version is not showing. The first video is using “Smart Youtube” plugin and the second video is using “Youtube with style”. I tried inserting the hd=1 code into youtube.php file, but it does not work. Any help would be appreciated.

By toggling the “HD is on” button off and on while playing the video, the HD version does finally come on. Unfortunately, the HD version does not play any other way.

Love the video probly the moste good looking player out there. (and good lucking)

Does not seem to work after WP 3.0.2 update

Great plugin but the new version is making my website crash. All I can get if I access post page in the admin pannel is a white page, same thing for the entire published website.
I’m using wp 3.04.

When deactivated NextGen Gallery plugin, it worked.

So ‘youtube with style’ not working together with ‘NextGen Gallery’ plugin.

Hi! I’ve installed this plugin yesterday, and everything was ok until i’ve hanged “widget title” . Now instead of widget i have information: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/e-compex/ftp/hanuka/gettoknowneweurope/wp-content/plugins/youtube-with-style/inc/widget.php on line 19. What am I doing wrong? Is there possibility to reset this plugin so it would work again?

I would love to know if there is a way to style the VIDEO background color, or black bar via CSS, or from within the code? Has anyone attempted to style the colors to match their site? Or is black our only option?

the plugin is discontinued ? it’s too bad, the idea was very good, as some other popup are making impossible to match with another youtube embed code. I don’t see any way to contact the author ( paypal donate link is dead too ) , so I write a comment.. just in case

Ok…I’ve honestly been trying to figure this out for a while and can’t get it.
The gallery feature means you can have multiple videos in a set similar to a playlist on your site.

If that is the case, how do I go about setting that up. I’ve searched just about everywhere and can’t find instructions :-(

Where do i insert the youtube video code, if i want to use it as widget. I could see the options to chage the width, height etc,. but finally where could i insert the code?

Your plugin is not working on newest wordpress. some video’s are not playing.

problem – we rely on facebook promotion of our new video pages. Facebook must have changed the way they grab information from the page, but now, in the description they grab, they also disply a large chunk of the “youtube with style” plugin code. This is however I post the url into facebook, and it can’t be removed. any ideas please email webmaster. Thanks
